Sushi Fish Medallion

"Sushi Fish"

Originally designed for the exhibition "A Tale of Wood and Fish".  A medallion to adorn the body or a wall, recycled plastic fish soy sauce bottles stitched into a circular design, finished with sequins and hand twisted rope and tassle.  Each piece from this exhibition work is unique.
Presented on a Mainichi backing card.

Mainichi is the studio of designer and artist Dearne Mills.  Since 2004 Dearne has been designing and handmaking unique jewellery pieces using mostly recycled, salvaged, upcycled and unusual materials.
