SPIRAL Brooch
Tactile and meditative, the Spiral Brooch is formed by hand-twisting rope and stitching it in a continuous spiral shape onto a base of pure wool felt. Each piece is slow-crafted, with visible hand-stitching that traces the rhythm of it’s making. The soft curves and circular form create a quiet yet intentional presence - minimal but full of meaning.
Originally created for the exhibition “True. Round. Recurring.” this design explores the spiral and the circle as a symbol of repetition, return and quiet persistence It’s a grounded, sculptural accent for coats, knits, scarves and wraps - bringing texture and calm to any ensemble.
Size: 10 - 12cm wide x 7cm high approx.
Gentle materials. Circular intent. Symbolic meaning.
Handmade on Kaurna Country, Adelaide, South Australia.
